It is fresh and medium-bodied, offering a delicious smorgasbord of dark and red fruits. To the eye: deep ruby red with hints of purple in the right light. On the nose: notes of cherry, plum, and spices are most noticeable. On the palate: heavy notes of cherry and red berries, such as raspberry shine through. It is a rather fruity wine. Rich, thick tannins are noticed. A nice, long finish.
