Primitivo's long history dates back to the times of the Phoenicians. It has an lot in common with a more well-known grape variety called Zinfandel. Fantini's version is an intense ruby colour with aromas and flavours of toast, prune, chocolate, spices and herbs; medium-plus body and soft with a harmoniously tannic finish.
